It is proposed to carry out an experimental practice to determine the specific heat of a substance, with simple construction equipment, low cost (less than those equipment manufactured to work in the specific field of the laboratory), viable maintenance because Is nourished by commercial elements of easy acquisition, which is complemented by an instrument of daily use on the part of the student (his cell phone), and that allows the ob-taining of results with sensible improvements in relation to those that are obtained with a equipment and in-strumental Since instantaneous temperature values can be recorded and the uncertainties associated with the measurement process are reasonably lower. It also seeks to increase the process of acquiring new knowledge, by making the student "motivated" by the use of a "familiar" element such as his cell phone, is more likely to develop the proposed activity. Se propone llevar a cabo una práctica experimental para determinar el calor específico de una sustancia, con equipamiento de construcción sencilla, de bajo costo (inferior al de aquellos equipos fabricados para trabajar en el ámbito específico del laboratorio), de mantenimiento viable en razón de que se nutre de elementos comerciales de fácil adquisición, que se complementa con un instrumento de uso cotidiano por parte del alumno (su teléfono celular), y que permite la obtención de resultados con sensibles mejoras en relación a los que se obtienen con un equipo e instrumental tradicional, puesto que se pueden registrar valores instantáneos de temperatura y las incertezas asociadas al proceso de medición son razonablemente menores. Además se busca acrecentar el proceso de adquisición de nuevos conocimientos, al lograr que el alumno “motivado”, por el uso de un elemento “familiar” como su celular, se muestre mejor predispuesto a desarrollar la actividad propuesta.
