In this work we present the results of evaluating the implementation of a proposal consisting on using a tutorial during the development of a practical laboratory work (PLW) in electrostatics. Our proposal consists on replacing the classic PLW, which has been implemented to date in the Physics II course at the Regional Faculty of San Francisco, National Technological University, with a tutorial aiming at improving students’ comprehension of physical concepts. In this way, we present a different approach to work at the laboratory on the fundamental concepts of an undergraduate basic electromagnetism course. We describe and analyze the results of the evaluation that was presented to students through a web form after developing the PLW under this modality. The results obtained push to continue with research regarding the possibility of implementing tutorials on other topics related to electromagnetism. En este trabajo se muestran los resultados de la evaluación de la implementación de una propuesta consistente en la utilización de un tutorial durante el desarrollo de un trabajo práctico de laboratorio (TPL) sobre electrostática. La propuesta consiste en reemplazar el clásico TPL, el cual se implementaba hasta el momento en la asignatura Física II de las carreras de ingeniería de la Facultad Regional San Francisco, Universidad Tecnológica Nacional, por un tutorial a los fines de mejorar la comprensión por parte de los estudiantes de los conceptos físicos relacionados con el tema. Se presenta así una manera distinta de trabajar en el laboratorio los conceptos fundamentales de un curso de electromagnetismo básico de nivel universitario. Se describen y analizan los resultados de la evaluación a la que fueron sometidos los estudiantes mediante formularios web, luego de realizar el TPL bajo esta modalidad. Los resultados obtenidos alientan a seguir investigando la posibilidad de implementar la estrategia de tutoriales en otros temas de electromagnetismo.
