The work also shows some results from a survey carried out to freshman from different careers, related to science field at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. From that survey results different influences can be established in two types of teaching practices that can be called habitual and singular. The survey also shows some limits to the vision of singular teaching practice. Se intenta analizar la influencia de la enseñanza de la física del nivel medio en la elección de las carreras de ciencia y tecnología. En este trabajo se tiene en cuenta cómo dicha elección ha sido influida por las características de la enseñanza recibida. Se muestran algunos resultados de una encuesta tomada a estudiantes ingresantes de diferentes carreras relacionadas con la ciencia de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. Se logran establecer diferentes influencias en dos tipos de tarea docente, una que se podría denominar habitual y otra singular. La encuesta señala también posibles límites a esta visión o práctica de los docentes singulares.
