| Sumario: | This article intends to analyze the union and political career of Rafael Clavero, leader of the Fiat Concord Workers Union (in Spanish, SiTraC) between 1970-1971. We intend to investigate what unique, historical and political aspects of the life of a trade unionist can contribute to the study of the process of radicalization and combativeness of a sector of the working class during the seventies. Our main input was two interviews, by Susana Fiorito in 2018 and to Diego Salerno in 1993 where we established a series of inquiries, that allow us to trace and deepen the study on the history of Clavero. This allowed us to hypothesize that his career was the singular expression of the combination of a series of factors such as collective actions, politicization based on the links he established with workers, trade unionists and leaders of political parties. Through Clavero's itinerary we were able to take a look at such an important event in the history of the Argentine working class: the recovery of their organizations by the will of the workers themselves. |
