We intend to investigate what unique, historical and political aspects of the life of a trade unionist can contribute to the study of the process of radicalization and combativeness of a sector of the working class during the seventies. Our main input was two interviews, by Susana Fiorito in 2018 and to Diego Salerno in 1993 where we established a series of inquiries, that allow us to trace and deepen the study on the history of Clavero. This allowed us to hypothesize that his career was the singular expression of the combination of a series of factors such as collective actions, politicization based on the links he established with workers, trade unionists and leaders of political parties. Through Clavero's itinerary we were able to take a look at such an important event in the history of the Argentine working class: the recovery of their organizations by the will of the workers themselves. El presente artículo se propone analizar la trayectoria sindical y política de Rafael Clavero, dirigente del Sindicato de Trabajadores de Fiat Concord (SiTraC) entre 1970-1971. Pretendemos indagar sobre qué aspectos singulares, históricos y políticos pueden aportar la vida de un gremialista al estudio del proceso de radicalización y combatividad de un sector de la clase obrera durante la década del setenta. Nuestros principales insumos fueron dos entrevistas realizadas por Susana Fiorito en 1984 y Diego Salerno en 1993, donde establecimos una serie de indagaciones que nos permitan rastrear y profundizar el estudio sobre la historia de Clavero. Esto nos permitió hipotetizar que su trayectoria fue la expresión singular de la combinación de una serie de factores tales como las acciones colectivas, la politización a partir de los vínculos que entabló con operarios, gremialistas y dirigentes de los partidos políticos. A través del itinerario de Clavero pudimos dar con una mirada sobre un hecho tan relevante en la historia de la clase trabajadora argentina: la recuperación de sus organizaciones por voluntad de los propios obreros.
