To achieve this, first of all, we account for the development of the popular economy, defined together with Coelho (2016) as a social, political and economic phenomenon of resistance to neoliberal policies, on the part of workers. In Argentina, the popular economy emerged during the '90s and was finally established, compared to the socio-historical situation of 2001. Along these lines, we return to the data from the National Registry of Popular Neighborhoods, to make visible how those who suffer the most from the consequences of precariousness and lack of access to basic rights and services in popular neighborhoods are women, dissidents and children. Finally, we delve into the experience of a community process supported by women from the Pueblos Unidos neighborhood of the city of Córdoba, which explains how the collective organization makes visible the violation of rights that puts neighbors who are experiencing situations of gender violence. El presente artículo desarrolla y analiza el proceso comunitario sostenido por mujeres de barrio Pueblos Unidos de la ciudad de Córdoba, realizando una breve introducción contextual sobre cómo las mujeres, organizadas en los diferentes territorios, son quienes interpelan directamente a la democracia a partir de procesos de lucha y conquista de derechos. Para llegar a ello, en primer lugar, damos cuenta del desarrollo de la economía popular, definida junto a Coelho (2016) como un fenómeno social, político y económico de resistencia a las políticas neoliberales, de parte de lxs trabajadorxs. En Argentina, la economía popular emerge durante la década del 90 y se termina de instalar, frente a la coyuntura socio histórica de 2001. En esta línea, retomamos los datos del Registro Nacional de Barrios Populares, para visibilizar cómo quienes más sufren las consecuencias de la precarización y la falta de acceso a derechos y servicios básicos en los barrios populares son las mujeres, disidencias e infancias. Finalmente, ahondamos en la experiencia de un proceso comunitario sostenido por mujeres de barrio Pueblos Unidos de la ciudad de Córdoba, el cual da cuenta de cómo la organización colectiva visibiliza la vulneración de derechos que pone en riesgo a vecinas que se encuentran atravesando situaciones de violencia de género.
