This article arises from my own need, based on a myriad of questions that have arisen while working in the health system. Inhabiting this field has generated in me the need to investigate the influence that western capitalism has had historically and still has in the processes of exclusion of the trans collective, and how social movements and feminisms have been able to participate actively in the constitution of laws, in the access and respect of the rights that contemplate this trans collective, and in the depathologization of transsexuality and access to the health system.
