The objectives are the analysis of territorial policies of access and use of water identified in this community, the place of participation in their formulation, the impact they had on the living conditions and development of the community, and the experiences and resignifications of the community. In terms of analytical key, “policies” are conceived as sociocultural activities deeply immersed in the social processes that take place in a community, creating and sustaining “worlds of meaning” that guide the realization of collective actions. In terms of methodological key, the work was carried out from a qualitative perspective based on a case study: the rural community of Chorrillos, in the Quebrada de Humahuaca, in the province of Jujuy. Information was collected from documents, observations and in-depth interviews with community. En el presente artículo, se analizan las políticas territoriales de acceso y uso del agua en la comunidad de Chorrillos (Jujuy). Los objetivos planteados son el análisis de políticas territoriales de acceso y uso del agua identificadas en dicha comunidad, del lugar de la participación en su formulación, del impacto que tuvieron en las condiciones de vida de la comunidad y de las vivencias y resignificaciones de la comunidad. En términos analíticos, se concibe a las “políticas” como actividades socioculturales profundamente inmersas en los procesos sociales que se dan en una comunidad, creando y sosteniendo “mundos de sentido” que guían la concreción de acciones colectivas. En términos de metodológicos, el trabajo se realizó desde una mirada cualitativa a partir de un estudio de caso: la comunidad rural de Chorrillos, en la Quebrada de Humahuaca, en la provincia de Jujuy. La recolección de información se realizó a partir de documentos, observaciones y entrevistas en profundidad con la comunidad.
