Este artículo tiene por finalidad analizar las estrategias de cuidado comunitario en torno a las necesidades alimentarias durante el contexto de covid-19 (2020/2021) en la ciudad de Tandil, a partir del análisis de las entrevistas en profundidad realizadas a referentes de organizaciones comunitarias proveedoras de cuidado en el marco del Proyecto de Investigación PISAC covid-19 n.° 117 “Estrategias familiares de cuidado en contextos de pobreza urbana y rural durante la pandemia y pospandemia por covid-19 en Argentina”.  La identificación y análisis de las estrategias permite advertir la centralidad de las organizaciones comunitarias y, dentro de ellas, el protagonismo de las cuidadoras comunitarias que refuerza roles tradicionales asignados a las mujeres.
