The stigmas, consequences and oppression on their lives caused by a patriarchal system are taken into consideration as a key factor, as well as their effect in the individual consumption behavior; including social gaps and other inequalities present in different social spheres. It is evident that there is a social and sanitary impact provoked by the current pandemic on these issues and on the deployed strategies. Furthermore it is intended to bring to the light the importance of the approach made by professionals with a focus in gender perspective and in human rights. Symbolic and material possibilities, barriers and difficulties are considered both in general terms as well as according to the experience gained at Programa del Sol. Similarly, it is an approach on the complex issue of drug abuse as an essential element of integral healthcare that hits directly on the subjects. It becomes evident the need to guarantee their treatment through different devices, spaces, strategies, and mainly, through integral, effective, nonpunitive and non-victimizing public policies. El presente artículo propone un acercamiento a las situaciones de vida de mujeres y otras identidades sexogenéricas vinculadas a los consumos problemáticos de drogas. Como incidencia fundamental en ello se retoman las marcas, consecuencias y opresiones que el sistema patriarcal provoca en las vidas de estas personas en general y en las prácticas de consumo en particular, sin desconocer las brechas y desigualdades presentes en torno a diferentes sectores sociales. Se evidencia también el impacto que el contexto socio sanitario de pandemia genera en estas problemáticas y las estrategias que se despliegan. Además, se intenta visibilizar la importancia de abordajes profesionales con perspectiva de géneros y en el marco de los derechos humanos. Se contemplan posibilidades, barreras y/o dificultades simbólicas y materiales en general y en la experiencia particular del trabajo del Programa del Sol. Asimismo, se aborda la compleja problemática de los consumos de drogas como parte de la salud integral de les sujetes y la necesidad de garantizar su tratamiento desde diferentes dispositivos, espacios, estrategias y principalmente, a partir de políticas públicas estatales no punitivistas ni estigmatizantes sino integrales y efectivas.
