| Sumario: | The purpose of this article is to analyze assistance and care policies in argentina, intimes of crisis of salaried work and weakening of social protection mechanisms. This process of crisis and new forms of assistance has been the causal factor of the expansion and complexity of poverty in Argentine society. The configuration of a social scenario of these characteristics recognizes immediate historical antecedents that have deepened in the current context of pandemic and compulsory social isolation.
The article makes a brief historical review of these topics in recent Argentina; analyzes information that is part of the diagnosis of the current social situation and puts forward some programmatic axes as a proposal for intervention within the framework of social policies.
The growth of various forms of monetarization of assistance by the State, the consolidation of community spaces for assistance and care in the territory and the presence of public institutions that provide support are the main supports of this proposal. |
