Sumario:Social protest, like all public enunciation, has the inherent capacity to modify the symbolic configuration in the field in which it occurs. In this sense, the constitution of the protest for the human right to abortion in Argentina was a long process of historical struggles that converged in a massive occupation of public space during the year 2018. In this essay, I propose to analyze what was the political impact of this protest as an emancipatory process in Argentine society from the category of public performance. To do so, I will analyze, based on the observation of the results of the collective action for the legalization and decriminalization of abortion in Córdoba (Argentina), the following effects: strategic, institutional and performative.
