In the first of these topics, the relationship between dissident sexual-gender orientation and the apprehension of subjects to a unique and exclusive sexual order is addressed; in the second, the same is done with the characteristics that heterosexist dependence introduces in the identities of people who lodge their desires in those sexual orientations located outside heterosexuality; and, in the last one, the ways in which contents related to sexual dissidences are addressed and omitted in the disciplinary training of Social Work professionals are presented and analyzed. Each one of the axes is analyzed in the light of the notion of emancipation to reflect on the achievements and pending aspects that are presented as challenges in professional training. El trabajo presenta algunas características del estudio de las disidencias sexuales en Argentina desde tres perspectivas: la socio-política, la identitaria y la formativa. En el primero de estos tópicos se aborda la relación entre orientación sexo-genérica disidente y aprehensión de los sujetos a un orden sexual único y excluyente; en el segundo, se hace lo propio con las características que la dependencia heterosexista introduce en las identidades de las personas que alojan sus deseos en aquellas orientaciones sexuales ubicadas por fuera de la heterosexualidad; y, en el último, se presentan y analizan las formas en que se abordan y se omiten los contenidos vinculados con las disidencias sexuales en la formación disciplinar de las y los profesionales del Trabajo Social. Cada uno de los ejes es analizado a la luz de la noción de emancipación para reflexionar sobre los logros y aspectos pendientes que se presentan como desafíos en la formación profesional.
