It is argued that the categories of work equated to employment and gender understood as an attribute of people do not allow for an appropriate reading of the realities of young women who carry out unpaid work in the domestic and/or community space. Some theoretical discussions of the aspects of feminisms, of the feminist economy and of the field of study of young people are recovered to make visible the importance of these works, as fundamental ambits of the daily reproduction of existence and as producers and reproducers of subjectivities and youth experiences.
