The present paper intends to analyze the expressions of the social question in the adolescent population that resides in the Buenos Aires Conurbation, and assists public agencies of attention. To do this, we conducted a historical journey of the category “social question”, posing different perspectives and establishing a position as constitutive of capitalism, as an expression of the contradictory relationship between capital and labor. Next, we develop the conceptualization of adolescence, emphasizing in its socio-historical configuration, its particular characteristics within the classes that live from work, and in the gender differences that are glimpsed within the same age group. From this framework, we briefly describe the institutional spaces that will be analyzed (health and family justice), taking two particular situations of adolescents with intervention from each one of said organisms. Finally, axes of analysis and questions to deepen are formulated, considering the current legislation, and some conclusions are mentioned. El presente trabajo se propone analizar las manifestaciones de la cuestión social en la población adolescente que reside en el conurbano bonaerense[1] (provincia de Buenos Aires, República Argentina), y que asiste a organismos públicos de atención. Para ello, realizamos un recorrido histórico de la categoría “cuestión social”, planteando diferentes perspectivas y estableciendo un posicionamiento en tanto constitutiva del capitalismo, como expresión de la relación contradictoria entre capital - trabajo. A continuación, desarrollamos la conceptualización de adolescencia, enfatizando en su configuración sociohistórica, sus características particulares al interior de las clases que viven del trabajo, y en las diferencias de género que se vislumbran dentro del mismo grupo etario. A partir de ese marco, describimos brevemente los espacios institucionales que se analizarán (salud y justicia de familia), tomando dos situaciones particulares de adolescentes con intervención desde cada uno de los espacios señalados. Finalmente, se formulan ejes de análisis e interrogantes a profundizar considerando la legislación vigente, y se proponen algunas conclusiones.   [1] Así se denomina a la franja territorial que comprende y rodea a la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.
