An approach from Metrovías labor relations policies Recuperar el control del día a día: Acerca de la regulación de la vida cotidiana como forma de intervención y legitimación del Trabajo Social en un ámbito empresarial Di Meglio, Juan Francisco control everyday life Social Work Metrovías control vida cotidiana Trabajo Social Metrovías The present study analizes the role of Social Work (SW) in Metrovías’ human resources area in Buenos Aires, particularly in its labor relations policy, showing that it is indeed in the workers control, where lies the legitimacy of the role of SW among this occupational space. It shows that the search for legitimacy acquires an ambivalent and profoundly political identity, merging the disciplinary knowledge and the particular interest of the company. It also analizes the different forms of resistance practiced by the workers as a response to this policies. Finally, it raises some questions in relation to the possibility of articulating those interests and the labor of SW within a workers union field.
