| Sumario: | In this work, we present a university extension experience carried out at the National University of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands (UNTDF) during the year 2022. For this initiative, an extension team was formed, consisting of university professors and students from the Bachelor's degree program in Environmental Sciences. The extension project addressed various Environmental Education strategies aimed at highlighting the environmental contributions of peatlands. Through dialogue and collaboration between UNTDF researchers, extension teams, and the local community, collaborative work experiences have been promoted, which not only generate new knowledge but also increase the community's interest and commitment to these institutional projects. |
