Sumario:The objective of this study was to reflect on the notes that echo in the Paraense Amazon, with regard to the approach of Education for Sustainability, within the educational and social training of individuals. Thus, it is pointed out that approaches based on the association between scientific and cultural knowledge, teacher training in the principles of sustainability, curricular environmentalization (considering traditional and interdisciplinary knowledge) and an emerging higher education with bases in Ecoformation, Ecopedagogy and interdisciplinarity echo as possible conjectures to be considered in the educational and social formation of the subjects. From these notes, it is believed that training, in its various aspects, can present greater appreciation of cultural, traditional and socio-environmental relations that make up the populations.
