The purpose of this study was to analyze the networks of social actors that the park rangers identify as being involved in the EEB in the NPA, the relationships they establish with the actors and the EEB proposals that park rangers carry out. The results showed that a diversity of social actors are related to park rangers (municipalities, rural schools, technical degree volunteers, local residents, researchers, NGOs, visitors, government agencies), through relationships of affinity or tension. Rural schools facilitated relations with local residents, while the organizations that held more power were not perceived as interested in supporting park rangers in the EEB.
