On some issues researchers seem to be reaching a consensus, while on others the discussion is still open. In this paper we will deal with some of the latter issues, which we have selected because of their theoretical interest, showing the lines of discussion and the main ideas that some authors handle. En los últimos diez años se han producido diversos cambios en tomo de los temas centrales de debate en el campo de la didáctica de las ciencias, coincidiendo con la creciente consolidación de la disciplina. En algunas cuestiones los investigadores parecen estar llegando a un consenso, mientras que en otras la discusión aún sigue abierta. En este trabajo trataremos algunas de estas últimas cuestiones, que hemos seleccionado debido a su interés teórico, mostrando las líneas de discusión y las ideas principales que manejan algunos autores.
