Sumario:In this paper we present a study on the teaching practice of 31 students of a primary school teacher training program in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. The research consisted of the analysis, through a mixed methodology, of Practice Diaries made by the teachers in training, where they had to present reflections on their professional practice. The hypothesis was that reflections on how to teach natural sciences were based on common sense and school biographies. The analysis allowed us to draw general conclusions as a basis for possible tools and instruments to promote reflective teaching practices as a fundamental input in teacher training.
