Sumario:The present study aimed to report the experience in the use of the word cloud technique in the teaching and learning process of Human Cell Physiology in Higher Education. After the classes, the teachers  prepared summaries on six contents of Cell Physiology, which were later analyzed by the Word Clouds software, which generated clouds of words that were interpreted in order to verify the contents represented. The method allowed us to visualize the presence of key concepts of Cellular Physiological Phenomena, involving the cellular structure, macromolecules, ions and transport of substances. We suggest the adoption of the methodology as a way of teaching-learning in other contents of Higher Education.
