The present study aimed to report the experience in the use of the word cloud technique in the teaching and learning process of Human Cell Physiology in Higher Education. After the classes, the teachers  prepared summaries on six contents of Cell Physiology, which were later analyzed by the Word Clouds software, which generated clouds of words that were interpreted in order to verify the contents represented. The method allowed us to visualize the presence of key concepts of Cellular Physiological Phenomena, involving the cellular structure, macromolecules, ions and transport of substances. We suggest the adoption of the methodology as a way of teaching-learning in other contents of Higher Education. O presente estudo objetivou relatar a experiência no uso de a técnica nuvem de palavras no processo de ensino e aprendizagem de Fisiologia Celular Humana na Educação Superior. Após as aulas os acadêmicos elaboraram resumos sobre seis conteúdos de Fisiologia Celular, os quais, posteriormente, foram analisados pelo software Word Clouds, o qual gerou nuvens de palavras que foram interpretadas a fim de verificar os conteúdos representados. O método permitiu visualizar a presença de conceitos-chave de Fenômenos Fisiológicos Celulares, envolvendo a estrutura celular, macromoléculas, íons, transporte de substâncias. Sugerimos o seu uso no Ensino Superior de outros conteúdos.
