This plan means the development of an interdisciplinary work. One of the most recent concerns that have arisen in ethnobotanical research is the loss of flora knowledge that can be potentially useful, a process known as cultural erosion'. A study of peasants and oral school students in the area of Paravachasca and Calamuchita (in SW Cordoha) has confirmed this situation. To tackle this we present an educational proposal to develop an interdisciplinary project with local ethnobotanical lore as its main axis. This proposal shnws the relationship between this field knowledge and the concept, procedure and attitude contents of the main areas of scholl curricula and suggests methodological resources oriented to preserve native flora and local culture, and to promote self-support. Finally, some native plants of frequent use among peasants of the area are presented as well as some strategies are indicated to promote familiarization of the students with plants used in several fields of traditional culture, such as dyeing, traditional medicine and food. La protección de los recursos naturales vegetales y del conocimiento acerca sus usos, requiere una tarea de resignificación en la curricula escolar, de un modo especial en el ámbito de las escuelas rurales, labor que supone el desarrollo de un trabajo interdisciplinario. Una de las preocupaciones recientes de lainvestigacion etnohotánica es la párdida de conocimientos potencialmente útiles acerca de Ia flora, lo que se conoce coino "erosión cultural". Esta situación ha sido constatada en ei marco de un estudio realizado con campesinos y estudiantes de las escuelas rurales del area de Paravachasca y Calamuchita, en el SO de la provincia de Cdrdoba. Para hacer frente a esto se presenta una propuesta educativa destinada al desarroIlo de proyectos interdisciplinarios articulados en torno al eje del conocimiento etnobotanico local. En la misma se expone la relación de este campo del conocimiento con contenidos conceptuales, procedimentales y actitudinales de las principales areas de Ia curricula escolar y se señalan recursos metodológicos orientándolos a Ia conservación de la flora nativa, de la cultura local y la promoción del autosustento.Finalmente se presentan algunas plantas nativas de uso habitual entre los campesinos en esta región, a la vez que se indican estrategias para promover la familiarización de los estudiantes con las plantas utilizadas en distintos ámbitos de la cultura tradicional, tales como el teñido natural, Ia medicina tradicional y Ia alimentación.
