The aim is to investigate about Scientific literacy at the kindergarten in Alto Valle, Río Negro Province. The research proposal is made up of two socio-constructivist methodological strategies. The extensive strategy tries to characterize the science conceptions of kindergarten teachers in exercise by means of a questionnaire that will be solved by them. The extensive strategies are expressed under the action-research framework, using strategies of semi-structured in-depth interviews and participant observation of the implementation of a didactic sequence, carried out in classrooms. It is expected to contribute to the curricular discussions of the Teacher Training and the Kindergarten. Se presenta el plan de Tesis Doctoral para alcanzar el Título de Doctor en Enseñanza de las Ciencias Exactas y Naturales. Se pretende indagar acerca de la alfabetización científica en el Nivel Inicial en la zona del Alto Valle de la Provincia de Río Negro. La propuesta de investigación está conformada por dos estrategias metodológicas socioconstructivistas. La estrategia extensiva pretende caracterizar las concepciones de Ciencia de docentes de Nivel Inicial en ejercicio, mediante un cuestionario que será resuelto por ellas. Las estrategias extensivas se expresan bajo el marco de la investigación-acción, recurriendo a estrategias de entrevistas semiestructuradas en profundidad y observación participante de la puesta en marcha de una secuencia didáctica, llevada a cabo en aulas del nivel. Se espera aportar al conocimiento de la enseñanza de las ciencias Naturales en el Nivel Inicial y contribuir con las discusiones curriculares de la Formación Docente y del nivel.
