That was a very enriching strategy when it came to integrate, visualize and bring into play the dimensions of feeding examined (socio –cultural, political – economic and biomedical) from a multidimensional, complex, interdisciplinary and multi-referential perspective. It enabled conceptual and metacognitive reflection, at the same time that allowed the expression of affection. Presentamos el análisis de producciones de cursantes en base a una propuesta de desarrollo profesional docente sobre Alimentación, llevadas a cabo a partir de una estrategia innovadora, que constituyó un ejercicio de lectura de “textos” visuales y escritura de producciones narrativas. Dicha estrategia fue muy enriquecedora a la hora de integrar, visibilizar y poner en juego las dimensiones de la Alimentación abordadas (socio-cultural, político-económica y biomédica) desde una perspectiva multidimensional, compleja, interdisciplinaria y multi-referenciada. Propició la reflexión conceptual y metacognitiva, al mismo tiempo que permitió la expresión de la afectividad.
