El artículo describe algunas características de las reuniones científicas y educativas periódicas organizadas por la Asociación de Docentes de Biología de la Argentina (A.D.Bi.A.), y el papel que han desempeñado en el crecimiento de esta agrupación. Se destacan sus contribuciones dentro del campo de la formación del profesorado y su desarrollo profesional, así como los aportes relacionados con la promoción, la difusión de la investigación y la innovación educativas, en el seno de una comunidad de profesores e investigadores en expansión.
