For the analysis of the results, the observations made during the didactic sequence, the students' productions, the answers to a questionnaire and an interview with the teacher were taken into account. The results allow us to recognize that the learning environment enabled the co-construction of knowledge (through the use of) social networks and the interrelation with different adolescents´ learning ecologies. En este escrito presentamos un diseño instructivo que tiene como propósito conocer las potencialidades de una Red Social a partir del desarrollo de una propuesta educativa sobre el tema “diversidad biológica” para estudiantes de segundo año de Educación Secundaria de una institución privada de la ciudad de Córdoba, Argentina. Para el análisis de los resultados se tuvieron en cuenta las observaciones realizadas durante la secuencia didáctica, las producciones de estudiantes, las respuestas a un cuestionario y una entrevista a la profesora. Los resultados permiten reconocer que el ambiente permitió la co-construcción de aprendizajes con redes sociales y la interrelación con diferentes ecologías de aprendizaje de los adolescentes.
