Sumario:A series of reflections related to the education of Biology professors are presented in this work in order to contribute to their professional as well as to their personal development. Our proposal is that the knowledge of what is considered relevant for the formation of young people should be used not only as feedback on the curriculum and the professors´ practices, but also feedback on the practices of teacher trainers.
