I10-R313-article-224942021-11-12T18:42:18Z An Approach to the Configuration of the Ecology Concept Una aproximación a la configuración del concepto de ecología Mendoza Mendoza, Elkin Arbey Escobar Gil, Gloria Inés This article is based on a question: how the concept of ecology has been configured? To answer it, the aspects that have brought forward advances both in science and insubjects such as biology, ethnobotany, zoology and ecology have been taken into account. The definition of ecology has been influenced by its structuring concepts, as well as by theparadigms that have also been subject to transformation throughout history and whichhave finally enabled a different perspective to understand life and living beings.
