The results have shown that there is consistency in relation to the descriptionof the course of the internship in its different stages, the positive side of the internshipand the disappointment of the curricular component. Based on the discussions and the analysisof the data obtained, it can be concluded that Mandatory Supervised Internships constitute oneof the essential steps that are necessary for undergraduate students to immerse themselves intheir professional field. En este trabajo, se investigó la trayectoria de un grupo de licenciados en Ciencias Biológicasde una universidad pública en Brasil, con el objetivo de identificar las convergencias y divergenciasentre la teoría (proceso de formación) y la realización de la pasantía. En el estudio, privilegiamosel enfoque cualitativo, con la aplicación de cuestionarios semiestructurados en dos grupos.Los resultados mostraron que hay una coherencia en relación a la descripción de la trayectoria dela pasantía en sus diferentes etapas, el lado positivo de la pasantía y la decepción del componentecurricular. En base a las discusiones y análisis de los datos obtenidos, se puede decir que la PasantíaSupervisada Obligatoria es uno de los pasos fundamentales y necesarios para la inmersióndel estudiante de licenciatura en su campo profesional.
