As a consequence, the necessity of socializing the knowledge about this topic has arisen. The proposal elaborated follows the structure of Eisenkraft’s 7E model and is meant to act as an initial approach to the problem. Given the high media campaign of the disease, it is expected that most students have their own ideas about the topic, although they may not agree with the scientific consensus. Thus, a brainstorming of ideas is proposed in order to make explicit these concepts and then discuss them based on revealing material written by experts in the biological area. After discussion and systematization, it is the intention to spread the knowledge by elaborating diffusion material on the subject matter. El dengue se ha instalado definitivamente como problemática de salud pública en la Argentina desde la epidemia de 2009. Como consecuencia, aparece la necesidad de socializar conocimiento sobre la problemática. La propuesta elaborada sigue la estructura de las 7E de Eisenkraft y apunta a ser una aproximación inicial. Dada la alta exposición mediática de la enfermedad, se espera que la mayoría de los estudiantes tengan ideas sobre el tema pero que éstas no necesariamente acuerden con los consensos de la comunidad científica. Se propone primero realizar un torbellino de ideas para explicitar esas concepciones y luego ponerlas en diálogo con un material de divulgación escrito por expertos del área biológica. Luego de discutir y sistematizar, se apunta a extender los conocimientos mediante la elaboración de materiales de difusión.
