| Sumario: | This paper presents the reflections that arise from implementing an educational proposal based on the environmental problems of the coastal town of Villa Gesell, Province of Buenos Aires. The proposal was carried out at a local high school and included a field trip conducted in an ecological reserve located near the school. Through this, the participants were able to understand the multiple environmental problems of the region, especially coastal erosion and biodiversity loss due to urbanization models with little environmental criteria. The interaction between students, teachers and researchers was very favorableto understand the importance of preserving biodiversity, bring students to research in this field and move from theoretical approaches to school environmental action. |
