Pedagogical innovation started being implemented in the subject Didactics of Biology and Residence Practice (Biology Teaching Profession) in 2002. Two objectives direct this proposal: 1) To help students do their residency practices within an institutional and group interaction and 2) To develop attitudes and skills for cooperative work in professional teams. This work has been done in different middle-level schools, public and private, establishing a pedagogical contract between residents and teachers. The main results were: a greater integration with different institutional individuals, a better organization and fulfillment of the proposed curricula activities, and an active and integrated participation in fulfilling the objectives set by the team work of the faculty La innovación pedagógica comenzó a implementarse en la asignatura Didáctica de la Biología y Práctica de Residencia (del Profesorado en Biología) desde el año 2002. Dos objetivos orientan esta propuesta: 1) Que los alumnos realicen sus prácticas de residencia en interacción grupal e institucional y 2) Desarrollar actitudes y competencias para el trabajo cooperativo en equipos profesionales. Se trabajó en diferentes colegios de nivel medio, públicos y privados, estableciéndose un contrato pedagógico entre los residentes y los docentes de nivel medio. Los principales resultados fueron: mayor integración con los diferentes actores institucionales; mejor organización y cumplimiento de las actividades curriculares propuestas; y una participación activa e integrada en el cumplimiento de los objetivos fijados por el equipo de trabajo de la facultad.
