A comparative diagnosis among the courses of studies of Biology in different Argentinean universities, highlighting the potential and limitations in the incorporation of environmental contents in the already mentioned training was carried out. Four “bridge elements” were identified as the central aim of this work. The studies plan of the Licensee in Biology of several argentinean public and private universities was analyzed.The concerns and profile of the graduate of each university and the subjects that presented a priori and environmental profile were looked through. With all the gathered information, the first step of the FODA technique was carried out as a conclusion. El objetivo de este trabajo es efectuar un relevamiento sobre la incorporación de la dimensión ambiental en la formación del profesional biólogo, realizando un diagnóstico comparativo entre las carreras de Biología en diversas universidades argentinas y resaltando potencialidades y limitaciones en la incorporación de contenidos ambientales en la referida formación. Se identifi caron 4 ?elementos puente?, eje central del trabajo. Se analizó el plan de estudio de la Licenciatura en Biología en las distintas universidades argentinas, tanto públicas como privadas. Se buscaron las incumbencias y el perfi l del egresado de cada universidad, y las asignaturas que presentaban a priori un perfi l ambiental. Con la información recabada se realizó el primer paso de la técnica FODA a modo de conclusión.
