What is more, urban Chagas appeared mainly due to the transfusional transmission caused by migrations. As a consequence of different research on Education and Chagas Disease carried out in the National University of Córdoba, educational material was developed in order to work from the school with the community. This material was tested with students from primary and high school of rural schools of the Districts of Río Seco and Sobremonte (Córdoba) and the District of Castro Barros (La Rioja). The results obtained were positive. This paper defines the characteristics and criteria used for the development of two modules: one about the Update on Chagas Disease and the other called Chagas Disease: suggestions to work in the classroom. La enfermedad de Chagas es un problema sanitario prioritario en nuestro país, por la falta de una vacuna, de un tratamiento efectivo en la etapa crónica y por la presencia persistente de vinchucas en el área endémica. Se suma a esto, la aparición de Chagas urbano debido principalmente a la transmisión transfusional por efecto de las migraciones. Como consecuencia de investigaciones realizadas en la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba relacionadas a: Enfermedad de Chagas y Educación, se desarrollaron materiales educativos para trabajar desde la escuela con la comunidad. Estos materiales fueron puestos a prueba en campo a través de escolares de nivel primario y nivel medio pertenecientes a Escuelas rurales de los Dpto. Río Seco y Sobremonte (Córdoba) y Dpto. Castro Barros (La Rioja) con resultados positivos. En este trabajo se presentan características y criterios utilizados para el desarrollo de dos módulos, uno sobre Actualización de Chagas y otro denominado Enfermedad de Chagas: sugerencias para trabajar en el aula.
