For this, the identification of similarities and differences in a group of organisms with the aim of classifying them recognizing the used criteria is programmed. The debate and the confrontation of ideas make reflection, argumentation and meaning construction viable. Introducing these concepts gives place to a better understanding of the biological classifications and their relation with the evolutionary history Se plantea el diseño de una propuesta didáctica dirigida a alumnos de la escuela secundaria, con el fin de introducir algunas ideas básicas en el marco de la enseñanza de las teorías que explican el origen de la diversidad de la vida. En esta secuencia específica de trabajo se presenta una aproximación a las ideas de homología y analogía. Para ello se programa la identificación de semejanzas y diferencias en un conjunto de organismos con el fin de clasificarlos reconociendo los criterios utilizados. El debate y la confrontación de ideas viabilizan la reflexión, la argumentación y la construcción de significados. Introducir estos conceptos da lugar a una mayor comprensión de las clasificaciones biológicas y de su relación con la historia evolutiva.
