The results gotten in each group of attendants to the workshop have been highly satisfactory. All the collaborating students that start working in any of the subjects grouped in the Biology Department must attend the “Development at Laboratory” workshop as compulsory. En este trabajo se presentan los resultados de cuatro ediciones de la pasantía denominada Desenvolvimiento en el Laboratorio, en el marco de un proyecto de extensión elaborado como respuesta a problemáticas presentadas por alumnos avanzados. Trabajar en este marco permitió un debate fluido para lograr la mejor solución a las siguientes situaciones: falta de seguridad en la rutina de laboratorio e incapacidad de tomar decisiones en la elección de los procedimientos adecuados. Los aspirantes a realizar la pasantía fueron seleccionados por concurso de antecedentes para lograr un cupo de no más de 20 alumnos. Las respuestas que se lograron en las distintas ediciones fueron altamente satisfactorias. Los ayudantes alumnos que ingresan a las diferentes asignaturas del Departamento de Biología, deben realizarla como parte de su formación académica.
