Works about singing topic usually speak about certain techniques or relate an eurocentric History of the voice. How would it be to think vocality in between artistic and intellectual practice? A new transdisciplinar field to think about vocalities as an interepistemic and problematic field is now emerging. Voice as a liminal device burst modern duality. Staying in between, where voice belongs, can become a key to contribute to new epistemologies, politics and arts. La voz ha sido abordada a lo largo de la historia de las humanidades y las ciencias sociales de manera anecdótica hasta nuestros días. Los trabajos en torno al canto no exceden generalmente la suscripción a determinadas técnicas o el racconto de una Historia eurocentrada. ¿Cómo sería pensar el fenómeno de la vocalidad desde la interseccionalidad entre arte y pensamiento? Comienza a emerger recientemente la consistencia de un campo transdisciplinar para pensar las vocalidades como coyuntura interepistémica y problemática. La liminalidad constituyente de la voz irrumpe con la mentalidad dualista heredada de la Modernidad. Posarnos desde allí para pensar, puede volverse una clave para aportar a las nuevas epistemologías, en vistas a una nueva política y a otra manera de concebir las artes.
