Overcoming the dichotomy representation - counter-representation, the article proposes to consider the potentialities offered by different resources such as irony, parody or satire, to confront dominant discourses and generate the conditions for the development of new representations. To do so, we consider the work of González himself, and two obligatoryreference texts, the Colombian film Agarrando pueblo (Ospina and Mayolo, 1977) and the Argentininian film Estrellas (León andMartínez, 2007).
