Sumario:Firstly, this work presents a reconstruction and critical reflection based on our experience from the process of teaching residence in higher education. Secondly, we focus on the development of creativity in teaching musical composition. We consider it should be approached from a situated pedagogic proposal which generates new challenges, activities and instances of musical production. For that purpose, we take as a reference the idea of development sequence exposed by Swanwick (1991). Finally, we find it relevant to reflect on our own teaching experience to enable other original and creative territories.
