The experiment was carried out at the experimental farm "La María", of the Quevedo State Technical University (UTEQ), located at km 7 of the Via Quevedo - El Empalme, Ecuador. Destructive sampling was used for the evaluation of the experiment at the different regrowth ages (45 and 60 days) and the following variables were evaluated: root length (cm), fresh and dry root weight (g), forage weight ( g). The bromatological composition of legumes was determined using the method proposed by AOAC (1990). In Clitoria ternatea it was reflected that the biomass forages and the protein content tends to fall as age increases due to the action of inoculants. However, Clitoria ternatea compared to Pueraria phaseoloides was superior in both forage weight and protein content with and without the inoculation of Azotobacter spp. It was also found that A. beijerinckii was the inoculant that excelled in increasing the morphological characteristics of A. gayanus grass in its two associations with legumes.
