Throughout the month of April, in the midst of a health quarantine due to the situation of the pandemic caused by Covid-19, the Food Safety conference cycle was held; where 1,113 participants were enrolled among students, professionals and other stakeholders in the community, generating the accreditation of 729 participants who were certified for the performance achieved in the evaluation of the content provided. The conferences were presented virtually and remotely with the aim of including all those who presented difficulties in accessing quality internet. This great call demonstrates the importance of food security in the current context, where quality and safe food, with a defined identity and protected from external attacks, are in demand. The topic of food security is widely required by the actors that participate in the global agro-industrial food chain as one of the most requested training activities. El conocimiento y la formación continua no se detienen en la Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. Durante todo el mes de abril, en plena cuarentena sanitaria por la situación de la pandemia causada por el Covid-19, se dictó el ciclo de conferencias de Seguridad Alimentaria (Food Safety); en donde se inscribieron 1.113 participantes entre estudiantes, profesionales y otros interesados de la comunidad, generándose la acreditación de 729 participantes lo cuales fueron certificados por los desempeños alcanzados en la evaluación de los contenidos brindados. Las conferencias fueron presentadas de manera virtual y a distancia con el objetivo de la inclusión de todas aquellas personas que presentaran dificultad en acceso a internet de calidad. Esta gran convocatoria demuestra la importancia de la seguridad alimentaria en el contexto actual, en donde los alimentos de calidad e inocuos, con una identidad definida y al resguardo de ataques externos, son demandados. La temática de seguridad alimentaria es ampliamente requerida por los actores que participan en la cadena agroindustrial de alimentos a nivel mundial como una de las actividades de formación más solicitada.
