Its purpose is to relatethe information from the archive and the historiographical work with a theoretical framework farfrom the idea of inaugural novelty when dealing with these lessons, more linked to the rereading,location and interests of legal elites. El artículo analiza la enseñanza de la Economía Política en la Universidad de Córdoba en lasegunda mitad del siglo XIX, considerando las posibilidades de lectura de las novedades y elinflujo de la tradición, el perfil intelectual y cultural de sus profesores, los textos señalados para laenseñanza y los programas de la cátedra. Su propósito es relacionar la información del archivo y lalabor historiográfica, con un marco teórico alejado de la idea de novedad inaugural al tratar estaslecciones, más vinculado con la relectura, localización e intereses de las élites jurídicas.
