The objective of this paper, in the frame of women history through the vision of gender, is to reconstruct her perspective on the role that should had have that group within the congregation and with this to analyze its field of action and its representations over the presence of Salesians in the south of Argentina. Although she was in the direction until the late years of 1950 decade, in this opportunity we consider the period between the sub commission creation in 1920 and its organization as an autonomous entity in 1926. As a starting point, we state that she fought for the independence of the sub-commission but with a conciliatory actitude. We affirm that she related the status change with a vision of the south of provincia de Buenos Aires and the Patagonia like specific object of assistance and this vision contributed to the material and symbolic appropriation of these territories by the congregation.
