Sumario:The sector of electricity was one of the more dynamics for the economic transformation, which Argentina had experimented in the 30ies. At the same time, it was a branch in which the cooperativism was strongly developed, being extremely important for the provision of electric energy, out of the huge urban centres. In this work it is studied the origin and development of the electric cooperative of Las Flores destinated to the sumistry of energy of the similar district, in the inner of the province of Buenos Aires. Using different electric cooperative's archives' material, the reasons of its creation are analyzed, the modalities and strategies which were needed to achieve its aims and the achievement and limitations of its development.
