In this work it is studied the origin and development of the electric cooperative of Las Flores destinated to the sumistry of energy of the similar district, in the inner of the province of Buenos Aires. Using different electric cooperative's archives' material, the reasons of its creation are analyzed, the modalities and strategies which were needed to achieve its aims and the achievement and limitations of its development.  El rubro de la electricidad fue uno de los sectores más dinámicos para la transformación económica que experimentó la Argentina en la década del 30. Al mismo tiempo, fue una de las ramas en las que se desarrolló más fuertemente el cooperativismo, que jugó un papel esencial en la provisión de energía eléctrica, fuera de los grandes centros urbanos. En este trabajo se estudia el origen y desenvolvimiento de la Cooperativa Eléctrica de Las Flores, destinada al suministro de energía del partido homónimo, en el interior de la provincia de Buenos Aires. Utilizando diverso material de archivo de la cooperativa eléctrica, se analizan los motivos de su creación, las modalidades y estrategias con que pudo concretar su puesta en marcha y los alcances y limitaciones de su desenvolvimiento.
