This boarding will allow us to investigate the nature of the demands of the sugar manufacturers and the strategies deploied by these businessmen to affect in the public national power. Likewise, across the study of the association we will specify the instances of existing alliances between the manufacturers of sugar and the businessmen of the littoral. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la fundación, organización y funcionamiento del Centro Azucarero Argentino, corporación empresaria específica fundada a fines del siglo XIX. Este abordaje permitirá indagar la naturaleza de las demandas de los industriales azucareros y las estrategias desplegadas por estos empresarios para incidir en los poderes públicos nacionales. Asimismo, a través del estudio de la asociación precisaremos las instancias de alianzas existentes entre los fabricantes de azúcar y los empresarios del litoral.
