Las prácticas participativas barriales en Río Cuarto (siglo XX) Basconzuelo, Celia neighborhood practices participation neighborhoods vecindad prácticas participación barrios The aim of this paper is to analyze participatory practices deployed neighbors from the barrios of Rio Cuarto, in the first half of the 20th century, not only for the purpose of clarifying an aspect of the social history of the town of Cordoba South, but with the aim of raising, in connection with the problem of construction of citizenship, the contribution of the neighborhood, with its scope and its potentialities. In the raised objective reason, this article makes its approach together articulating theoretical perspectives and historical analysis: the conceptual framework provided by political theory, with regard to the constituent elements of citizenship, and on the other, from social history with the analysis of participatory practices undertaken by the protagonists of the time. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar las prácticas participativas que desplegaban los vecinos desde los barrios de Río Cuarto, en la primera mitad del siglo XX, no sólo con la finalidad de esclarecer un aspecto de la historia social de dicha localidad del sur cordobés, sino con la pretensión de plantear, en relación con el problema de construcción de la ciudadanía, la contribución de la vecindad, con sus alcances y sus potencialidades. En razón del objetivo planteado, este artículo realiza su abordaje articulando interdisciplinariamente perspectivas teóricas y análisis histórico: el marco conceptual aportado por la teoría política, en cuanto a los elementos constitutivos de la ciudadanía, y por el otro, desde la historia social con el análisis de las prácticas participativas emprendidas por los protagonistas de la época.
