In this text, we propose a reading of the book that aims to interpret the author’s findings following the dialogic principle that distinguishes not only Bakhtin’s framework but also the results of Arán’s lifetime research on him. This translation represents a broadening in the reach of Argentinian scientific production and a great contribution to sociocriticism. In the first place, the author establishes dialogues between Bakhtin and other recognized thinkers of similar fields. In the second place, she both draws a trail following Bakhtin’s theoretical notions and proposes her own in response, therefore proving their productivity and heuristic value. In the third place, the book presents an interview between author and translator that details how Bakhtin’s works were made known in Argentina and takes the reader through Arán academic trajectory. El libro A herança de Bakhtin: reflexões e migrações. Seleção de textos (Mercado de Letras, 2024) es una obra de Pampa Arán indispensable para el estudio de Mijaíl Bajtín. El texto aquí presentado es una lectura del libro que busca interpretar las operaciones realizadas por la autora en la clave dialógica que caracteriza no solo a los aportes teóricos del pensador ruso sino también la apropiación que hace Arán de ellos. Esta traducción representa una ampliación del alcance de la producción científica argentina y un gran aporte a la sociocrítica. En primer lugar, la autora establece diálogos entre Bajtín y otros pensadores de disciplinas afines. En segundo lugar, realiza un rastreo de conceptos de la mano de la proposición de hipótesis propias que dan cuenta de la actualidad y productividad de las categorías bajtnianas. Y en tercer lugar, el libro presenta una entrevista entre la autora y el traductor en torno al ingreso de la obra de Bajtín en la Argentina y la trayectoria académica de Arán.
